Versatile and future-oriented - HDI Versicherung AG is characterised by proven quality and innovative strength.

Since 1875: In Austria as the Insurance Association of the Austrian Paper Industry.

1983: Taken over by HDI VVaG.

1990: Expansion of the field of activity to the area of motor vehicles.

1996: The areas of accident, legal protection and household/home are added to the field of activity.

2006: The parent group Talanx acquires Gerling and integrates the company into HDI.

2007: Gerling branches in the Czech Republic and Hungary flow into HDI Austria.

2009: The merger of Poistovna HDI-Gerling Slovensko, a.s., founded in 1993, with HDI Versicherung AG is successfully completed. The branch is subject to Austrian supervision.

2012: Opening of the customer office in Erzherzog-Karl-Straße 19a in Vienna Donaustadt (22nd district).
