As an international insurer, HDI also supports globally active companies outside their home country.
International insurance programmes protect companies with subsidiaries abroad.
They offer local insurance protection for these companies in individual countries and at the same time a clear scope of insurance for the parent company with the possibility of extending the insurance coverage to the level of the parent company abroad if necessary.
We manage the insurance program in all the types of insurance we offer.
Especially companies with foreign subsidiaries are exposed to a number of risks due to the international interconnection of development, production and sales. Internally, they are extremely dependent on the international situation.
The extent of their liability depends on the different legal situations in the various countries. In addition, national insurance markets and insurance options vary widely.
We are able to underwrite international insurance programmes because we have an extensive network of our own subsidiaries and business units around the world. In countries where we do not operate independently, we arrange insurance cover through our international partners.
